ah i could use a lil creative help. Starting in september I will be running an underground newspaper in my highschool. Yah i know sounds dorky...but it holds a perpose (is looking at the word...did i spell that right...and im going to be an editor ~_~) Aside from telling my class (seniors woohoo!!) about all the events we've got planned for money etc..it'll serve as a real newspaper..and what the schools official newspaper should be doing. they write about such boring topics and all the kids writing it are total pricks who seriously need to get mugged. We wanna talk about the food fights and shit that goes on...now that ppl in our schools finally got brave enough to pull pranks. The newspaper will of course have to be anoynmus since such things arnt allowed.

anyways point of this thread. I cant think of a name! I've got a an awesome layout planned and characters who "write" the newspaper etc itsd perfect...flawless down to how we will spread them out though the school. But i cant think of a name!

~_~ i ran out of creative juice. I was thinking of just plaining calling it "The Underground" I really wanna call it the "The Underground Shit" but i think id be pushing it with the swear.

So any ideas...i need something cool and catchy. ^_^

How about "The Lowdown"? You know, like either "gimme the lowdown" (cop/reporter slang for "tell me what's really going on here") or "those lowdown no-good sonsof...." (i.e. what the school authorities are likely to say about its unauthorized existence)?

ahhh not being able to use the comp is total hell >_>....my parents finally realized that the only punishment that works on me is putting a password of my account so i couldnt log in to the comp.

anyways...i've been away for only like a week but it feels like forever. I like the lowdown one and toilet paper is funny....but i need something more edgy (ahhh how am i going to be an editor i just spent like 5mins trying to figure out how to spell edgier....but i think its not correct grammer right? ~_~)

anyways...i need a name that sounds illegal..it needs to have that "in your face u evil administrative people who hate children!" thing going on.

ahhh im finally getting a scanner after like 2 yrs of begging for one! so i cant wait to finish the layout completly and show it to u guys. (hehe im such a loser ^_^)

Ohhhh i really like the contraband one. that one is good on so many levels! lol....its sounds illegal like i wanted, the kids wont think it sounds lame, and any of the young rebel teachers will think its funny. Plus since some of the paper will be sort of important, it has a serious tone too it as well as a mocking tone.

wow i really like that one, i can even picture the font i would use O_O...i think that one is at the top of my list for cool names. thanks alot

in case anyone is interested i finished my lil newspaper thing. this is prolly what the first issue will look like...and every issue after that will have diff pics.

i have to say thanx again to risu chan for the great name....everyone really likes it.
